JOURNALISTS
WANTED
When the Liverpool Supporters Club (Malta) was founded, one of
the first decisions made was to regularly publish a magazine to be distributed freely to
its members. Thus was born Anfield Island.
Over the
years, the magazine has constantly grown, regularly featuring interviews with players,
past and present, as well as a number of columnists such as Darren Phillips (author of the
excellent Better Than The Brazilians) and Derek Dohren. Anfield Island now also features a
regular column called Liverpools Future where Anfield regular Andy Philip takes a
look at the promising players at Liverpool.
Despite such a vast and talented array of writers, we are always looking
for new columnists. And this is where you come in.
If youre fanatical about Liverpool, and think that you can write a bit,
wed like to hear from you. Irrespective of where you come from, Anfield Island is
willing to publish your articles provided they meet our standards.
The magazine is run on a voluntary basis so we are unable to offer any financial
compensation. What we can offer is the satisfaction of knowing that your article will be
read by the over 1,200 members to our club as well as the thousands of others who
regularly visit Walk On.
If youre interested, please mail us at
info@walkonlfc.com
Anyone interested in receiving a copy of the magazine can also write in for one.
Well send it to you free of charge, although you would be expected to cover postage
costs.
